Pictured above is Angela (right) from Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre receiving children and adult beanies from Avery, one of the recent inductees into the Werribee Rotary Club. Angela expressed her thanks for the beautifully knitted beanies. She said that their team of volunteers will sort them and send them off to adult patients to help keep their heads warm during winter. For the children and young adults, the beanies will be supplied to the Paediatric Radiotherapy unit.
Most of the items were lovingly knitted by ladies from the local Community Bingo club.
