CLUB BANNERS
Each Rotary club has their own distinctive banner which they use to present to visiting Rotarians who take it back to their home club. In return the visiting Rotarian may present a banner from their own club. In effect, it is a swapping of banners which signifies a gesture of goodwill and friendship between the clubs regardless of whether they are neighbours or whether they are located in another part of the world.The size and shape of each banner varies but they are generally about 10 inches (26 centimetres) long and 5 inches (13 centimetres) wide.
The Rotary Club of Werribee has accumulated many club banners over the years as a result of one of their members visiting another club or a Rotarian from another club visiting our club.
