Footy Tipping - Round 16.  Robert Fava won the $10, as he was the only person to pick Hawthorn. Tipping was tough early with more turn-ups. Ross Conley, Ann Smith & Mary Maguire tipped 6, and heaps managed 5 out of 9. The ladder after round 16 is starting to consolidate at the top into a four person race. Graham Roper and Ian Hovey still share top spot on 89, closely followed by Mary Maguire on 88, and Lou Dowling and Ann Smith on 86. 

The next Bunnings BBQ is on 18th July 2019, followed by 22 August 2019. Geoff needs a few more volunteers, as the same ones are turning up each BBQ. Call Geoff if you can assist for an hour or two.

 Cut Giggle & Sew - will now be held monthly. The next social gathering will be Sat 13 July from 9.30 till 11.30 at Mary Macaulay's. There will be free lessons on how to sew. Click here to view brochure

District Conference Bendigo 27-29 March 2020 - Brian has booked rooms at the Quality Apartments Lakeside. Let Brian know if you want to put your name to a room.

Bingo - we made another $700 profit last night. We need some ideas/assistance to promote Bingo. Another 15 players would ensure we made $1,000 a night profit.

Don't Forget - our meeting on 23 July 2019 will be at Manor Court. The club will be presenting a cheque for $20,000 to Manor Court towards furniture for the newly opened Memory Support Unit. A tour of the new unit will be conducted. Our guest speaker on the night will be Sarah Norton from the Level Crossing Removal Authority, talking about the three Werribee Crossings. This is a partners night so all welcome.  We will be putting a list around next week at Rotary. If you or friends wish to attend on 23.07.2019 but won't be at next week's 16.07.2019 meeting, send an email to Ross Smith of who will be attending.
