OUR MEETING 5th March 2024
From President Kim:
- Lots of apologies this week, but great to see Enzo Maddalon back. Enzo is sick of visiting doctors, but hopefully he's on the improve.
- Our Bunnings BBQ last Thursday was a pretty quiet affair. It started slowly, and got slower as the day progressed. We made $300-$400, which is not a great days work. The next BBQ is Thursday 28 March - the day prior to good friday, which should be pretty big.
- Bingo is taking some time to recover after the closure of the ISCW. Numbers have dropped from around 125 to around 110 for the last 3 weeks. Hopefully this will pick up soon.
- Friday's golf day is looking good. Nearly a full field, and the weather high 20's, which should see us get close to $25,000 profit for Vic Uni Cancer Research.
- During the week Pres Kim presented 640 baby beanies and 34 blankets to Werribee Mercy Hospital.
