Werribee South
From President Kim:
  • Professor Vasso was listed as guest speaker for the night, but we believe she is still on holidays.
  • As advised in an email from Pres Kim today, it was his intention to hold a club forum to look at the problems, successes and future of our club. With only nine members in attendance, it was agreed that it was not appropriate to hold the forum, and that it would be delayed to a later date, when we have a better representation of members.
  • Pres Kim advised that the Board has developed a questionnaire which will be finalised shortly, and sent to members. The questionnaire is confidential, so it is very important that all members complete the survey, and have their say in the future of our club.
  • Bingo was back yesterday, after a two week layoff. It was a quiet night with 120 players and a profit of $1,700. The ISCW has increased the room hore by $100 a night, which is still considered good value.
  • Our three hospitalised members is now down to one. Peter Ross is still in a Geelong Hospital recovering from his fall. Get well Peter. Ian Knight is home and on the improve. Ross Conley is home from his second vascular surgery, and is on the improve. He won't be playing golf next week, but it won't be long.
  • We have been allocated three Thursday BBQ's at Bunnings. 29th Feb, 28th March & 18th April. 28th March is the day before Good Friday and should be a good one.
