The Aged Care Crisis

Ross is a member of Werribee Rotary. He is also CEO of Manor Court, an aged care facility which was established over 40 years ago by Rotary.

The aged care industry is under intense scrutiny as a result of media reports of malpractice and mistreatment of residents at some nursing homes. This has lead to the recent announcement of a Royal Commission to investigate the industry.

Ross will explain the situation at Manor Court and express his opinions about the future of the industry in light of the impending Royal Commission and the drastic cost cutting made by the government over the past few years.
